Cop Tries To Kill Air Force Police Officer, But Fails

And he's not going to be charged with attempted murder, but attempted voluntary manslaughter. Whatever that is.

You can't make this stuff up...

UPDATE: The dude who got shot 3 times - in the attempted murder - was just visited in (corrected - I had said he was released; not true) the hospital, but Fox News says he's dead:

Again - you can't make this stuff up.

Let's keep in mind, in all this, that the attempted murder was taped by a civilian. Without that, the attempted murderer never would have even been charged. Even if he put a bullet through the airman's head.

Look at the stats in this article:

The San Bernardino County district attorney has reviewed 131 officer-involved shootings and in-custody deaths since 2000 without filing a criminal count against an officer.

How many of those 131 attempted murders - or murders - you think were taped by a civilian? Here's a hint - no charges were filed in any of those cases. That's right - none of those attempted or actual murders resulted in an officer being charged with attempted murder, much less anything else. This shit is crazy.

Why wasn't the cop doing the shooting running his in-car camera? Did he know he was going to try to kill someone?

The cops are making sure they punish the guy who shot the video...

The shooter's dad was a cop in Compton. Fuckin brilliant. And Webb's been under investigation before - he was one of the defendants in a civil suit - imagine that:

Webb was named as one of seven co-defendants in a 2004 federal civil lawsuit against San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies that alleged excessive use of force by another deputy. Jurors in that case ruled for the officers and cleared Webb, who had been accused of failing to stop his colleague from misconduct.

Webb is believed to be the son of a former Compton chief of police, also named Ivory Webb.

I don't know what happened in that case, but it's not difficult to guess. Four or five cops beat the fuck out of some black kid while Web stood by and watched and kept civilians from getting pictures and took a few shots himself when he could. That's probably right.
