utu - saving the internet (with hate)

Fun project.

I'm not exactly sure what it's about, but I suspect it'll have something to do with using crowdsourcing to figure out who certain people on the internet are - people who engage in death threats, or spam, or even just generally rude behavior.

Found via an epic rant.

What I don't get is why he thought it was cool to blatantly steal culture for his little nerd project.

Both the name and his little logo are blatant rip offs of indigenous culture. And the logo in particular is very badly done. It is an absolute insult to the amazing traditional art of moko.

Prick.
