Someone put a lot of work into this flash animation, The Meatrix, that talks about the horrific treatment of farm animals - of course, it's a spoof of The Matrix. I'm not quite a militant fruitarian, but I do believe in animal rights - to a certain extent. I can't say I care about independent farmers vs. big corporations, but I think it's pretty sad that I force myself to stay ignorant about these horrific animal farm stories so I can still enjoy a chicken sandwich when I want one. Everyone has their own level of hypocrisy, I guess...
